A cross between a factory, an old plate camera, and an organism, this work uses reappropriated electronics (reprogrammed parts from a discarded 3D printer) to enact a scene with a small, organic form.
In my object-based practice I incorporate found and discarded objects, organic matter, and synthetic materials, such as latex and silicone, into kinetic sculptures and large-scale installations. These works exist in a state of flux – seemingly suspended in-between many forms at once – and are oftentimes temporary structures that are disassembled shortly after their initial installation.
